Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni tied knot with Fashion Coordinator Shradha Kharpude
The Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni got married to a fashion coordinator in the Femina magazine, Shradha Kharpude in a private ceremony at the St Regis hotel in South Mumbai. The Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni and Shradha Kharpude met each other four years ago through a common friend and started dating each other after that. The marriage ceremony of the Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni was attended by only couple’s family members and close friends.
The couple of the Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni and Shradha Kharpude were dressed in Martahi attire as was told by the two. Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni’s wife, Shradha Kharpude, before the marriage said, “It is going to be a typical Maharashtrian day-time wedding. All family members and friends are going to be dressed in traditional attire. We are using genda flowers and banana leaves for the wedding decoration. We’ll have other cuisines too. We are not sure if everyone will enjoy Maharashtrian food.”

The couple of Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni and Shradha Kharpude first exchanged their BB pins to communicate and fell in love a few days later. The wedding of Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni and Shradha Kharpude had spring theme. The bride told, “I am wearing a Shyamal and Bhumika lehenga and Dhawal will be in a three–piece suit by Zegna.”
Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni’s friend and teammate and Indian batsman Rohit Sharma, took to twitter to congratulate his friend on his big day. He wrote, “Wishing my buddy @dhawal_kulkarni and Shraddha a very happy married life! My FaceTime presence was felt.” Rohit Sharma is in Bangladesh now-a-days performing his part of the national duty.
Apart from Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni, Indian batsman Robin Uthappa also tied knot with tennis player Sheethal Goutham. Irfan Pathan and Juhi Chawla were present at the function. They also took to twitter to congratulate Robin. Irfan Pathan wrote, “My brother @robbieuthappa wis u a great married life.may u always keep laughing the way u do #robinsheethal.” Juhi Chawla wrote, “Robin uthappa and Sheetal .. Now man and wife …!!congratulatttiioonnss …!!”
Earlier, when Indian Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni was not selected for playing against Australia in January, he said, “I was expecting a call; since I went to Australia last year and was part of stand by’s for the World Cup. I was the joint-second highest wicket-taker in Vijay Hazare and I had a feeling that I would be selected. Somehow, I did not.”
He further added, “It is very disappointing that I was not picked. I have always got limited opportunities. Whatever chance I get, I try to prove myself. I thought if I do well in the one-dayers [Vijay Hazare Trophy], I would be back in the team. If I am not performing, I don’t feel that I deserve to be there. I have always taken it as a challenge and have performed with the hope of being part of the team.”
